The GBS Group Pte. Ltd. Set to Do Business in Singapore

First international office expands GBS services to maritime & energy customers around the world

Virginia Beach, VA – September 27, 2010 – The GBS Group (GBS) announced today the establishment of The GBS Group Pte. Ltd., incorporated and headquartered in Singapore. This new company provides engineering technical services, primarily in the maritime, energy, and construction industries for international customers doing business in Southeast Asia. The GBS Group Pte. Ltd. is affiliated with The GBS Group, USA, an engineering consulting and technical services firm headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA serving clients in the in the Energy, Federal, and Transportation sectors.

The GBS Group Pte. offers its clients a Singapore-based location to better serve their needs. Singapore is recognized as the financial hub of Southeast Asia and is ranked as the world's top logistic hub. Bob Golden, CEO of The GBS Group said, "We are pleased to be working with customers and officials in Singapore where we provide construction management and engineering services for construction and repair of ultra deepwater drilling rigs and jack ups for US and Singapore customers. Singapore is a remarkable, thriving country doing a great deal of business with U.S. companies."

GBS' Energy and Construction Management division, led by Mr. Terry Hickey, provides a full scope of drilling rig, maritime vessel, and jack up fleet technical services including pre- construction and project development, shipyard project planning, bid spec development, vessel surveys, reliability studies, system upgrades, and major equipment overhauls. GBS also represents and provides technical services for MIPEG Crane Monitoring Systems throughout North America and Canada for AADI of Bergen, Norway.
